  • Buy a Portable Beer Pong Table

Beer pong has become one of the most popular drinking games for everything from college parties to tailgaiting. Almost everyone who likes beer pong has attempted to make their own table at home. For a while, a homemade table was the only option. Fortunately, things have changed and now you can own a great high-quality table that can work for several different kinds of games.

Beer pong tables can see a lot of abuse given the nature of their game. Fortunately, Beirut tables are made of a light weight but durable aluminum frame that makes it easily moveable and still sturdy.

The surface is also constructed from melamine which makes it not only durable but easy to clean. Whenever you're using a table that frequently comes into contact with any food product it is important to have a sanitary surface like the one on the beer pong table.

The table is also built for portability. It folds up several times into a briefcase-size unit that makes it easy to take with you to a friend's house or the parking lot outside the stadium or just to store it away when you're not using it and need the extra space.

The table is also designed to work six or ten cup games and is laid out for perfect rack setup every time you use it. It's also great for other drinking games like flip cup or just for use as a regular table at a party.

This super 8 ball edition table works great, but it looks great too. Fun and flashy design makes it a hit at any party. So rather than try to build a rickety table out of plywood and two by fours, buy a portable beer pong table and start partying.

  • Find Polished Brass Bar Foot Rails

If you have gone to all the trouble of putting in a nice new bar in your home, you don't want to skimp on the little things.

If you have a non-standard or custom bar, you can also get custom foot rails to match your bar.

First, you have to understand what you need and how to determine the pieces you should buy. The finish on the bar rails is the first thing to decide on.

Although polished brass is probably the most popular, you can get stainless steel or wood if that suits your tastes better. The length of the tubing is crucial but easy to figure out just by measuring the length of the area where you want to install the railing.

You will need special pieces for corners and bends as well, but you can find 90 and 135 degree pieces with any set of tubing. You will also have to get brackets to hold the railing to the bar itself. These brackets are placed roughly every four feet in order to give the railing the stability it needs.

The last thing to buy is the end cap for the railing. There are a wide range of different styles to choose from so they will match your bar no matter what the décor. In addition to the different styles, they are fairly universal and the metal caps will work even if you have a wooden railing.

Installing the bar rail is a pretty simple process. Any good set of bar foot rails will come with instructions even if you have to get a custom set. Custom sets are for anyone who has a non-standard bar that has been built in a unique way, or if you just want to add a little unique style to your bar.

The hardest part is probably going to be choosing a style. But remember that these pieces are not welded in place, you can change them out for a different style or material if your tastes change.

But style is just one reason to get a foot bar, you also want to make sure that anyone who sits at your bar is going to be comfortable. In addition, you will get some extra protection for the wood panels on your bar by installing a foot rail. The people who sit at your bar won't kick the wood panels if they have a nice foot rail to rest their feet on.

For any bar that is going to see a good amount of use, you have to have a good foot rail. So if you are planning on building your own bar, or just looking to improve the one you have now, you can really take it to the next level with a great polished brass bar foot rail.

  • Protect Your Dogs Health by Learning Canine Cancer Secrets

Canine cancer affects one in every three dogs. Roughly half of those dogs will die due to cancer. Because of these staggering statistics, a great deal of research has gone into the detection and treatment of canine cancer.

While it remains difficult to diagnose cancer in dogs, medicine has been advancing rapidly in treatment of the problems associated with the many different forms of canine cancer. Fortunately, there are some things you can look out for that will help you spot any problems in your dog early on.

As with humans, dogs are vulnerable to a variety of different cancers. But cancer in dogs can be much harder to spot unless your dog is acting outwardly strange. Even in humans, cancer can go undetected for long periods of time and some people may have untreated cancer in their bodies for years.

Your dog is unable to tell you when they are not feeling well and does not know if their illness is life-threatening. Because of that it is up to you to monitor them for any signs or symptoms of possible ill health.

The easiest sign of cancer to spot is a rapidly-growing lump. While these are commonly seen on dogs and are nothing more than fat deposits in many cases, they should never go unchecked and your vet may want to do a biopsy to determine if the growth is cancerous.

A sore which will not heal is an immediate red flag that something is wrong and should promptly be examined. While it is an unpleasant task, you should always monitor your dog's stool. It can tell you a great deal about your pet's health. You should also check the stool's consistency and ensure that it contains no blood or pus.

If a dog loses their appetite or is not drinking plenty of water, you should consider that a warning sign of poor health as well. A normally active dog who becomes sluggish or overly lazy may have a health problem. If the dog is acting lame or sore, they should be immediately taken to a professional for examination.

For dogs that are diagnosed with canine cancer, there are still options and treatments which may help them recover. The first response for most types of cancer is surgery, which is done to reduce the mass of the tumor.

Chemotherapy is one of the more popular options. Not only is the treatment expensive, but the toxins which are used to kill the tumor may harm the dog's immune system as well.

Radiation therapy uses lethal doses of radiation to neutralize the cancerous growth, but this can also damage healthy tissue surrounding the area. As with most sicknesses, prevention is usually the best option and some herbs such as Echinacea and Astralagus are thought to help prevent cancer.

Since the side effects of medical treatments can be a great deal to bear, especially for older dogs, preventative steps should always be taken first. Many scientists find that a dog with a healthy immune system has the best chance to avoid getting cancer.

If they live a healthy lifestyle, their immune system will be able to better cope with illness. And always remember that a happy dog is a healthy dog.

  • Beer Pong Game Gets the Party Rocking

Beirut or beer pong game has continued to gain popularity in the United States. You can find it in more than just college frat parties and tailgating bashes. The original game was thought to be played at Dartmouth college in the 1950's and much more closely resembled the actual game of ping pong.

Beer pong, as a title, is normally saved for the game that is still played with paddles, however, beirut was born in the 1980's as the title for the paddle free game. Still debate in ongoing about who originated the specific nomenclature, however the rules for each games is surprisingly similar.

Setting up the game itself is simple. Two teams, usually consisting of two player each, start at either end of a long table. Normally, this is a ping pong table, however it is becoming less and less the norm. You then set up 6, 10, or 15 cups on both ends of the table. Next, fill these cups, partially, with different beverages.

As the name implies many people opt for beer. Light beers are the best, because of the speed and quantity of beer that can be consumed. Dartmouth college, where beer pong was originated, has banned beer pong. Because of this, some students play a dry version using root beer or other drinks.

Since the game is considered a house game rather than an official game, rules vary quite a bit. The number of cups used, the types of shots allowed and the strategies are usually different.

There are many different kinds of shots in the game. Some games require a bounce before entering a cup, like the original game of ping pong.

Most house rules require that when a cup is hit, the opposing team must drink the beer and then rearrange the cups. The game normally ends, when one team has forced the other team to drink all of the cups. However, some places have a final showdown or redemption where the losing team can stay alive if they double sink one cup.

It doesn't matter what rules or names are used, beer pong is still gaining popularity across the United States. Always take some precautions while playing any game that involves alcohol. However, if the players are careful, beer pong can be a great way to take a party to the next level. Bragging rights as a local beer pong champion can make a big man on campus out of anyone.

  • Homebrew Kegging Systems Keep Your Favorite Brew on Tap

If you are a home brewer or are just interested in becoming one, then you are probably concerned about several things that are involved in creating the perfect brew. First, you do not want to wait six weeks to find out what your beer will taste like.

Fortunately, neither of these need to be a problem any longer. Not only is there a most space and cost effective way to brew your own drinks at home, you may open to the methods used in kegging as well.

The biggest benefit to creating beer on tap instead of bottles is that you can use your kegerator at home for your own beer instead of buying a keg. And there is not very much to buy to get started.

Most homebrew kegging systems are similar in terms of what items they supply. The first thing you need is a corny keg. This keg is stainless steel and was named after the Cornelius Company which was the company that created it.

The kegs have been in existence for decades and have served as the carbonated drink dispenser much longer than any other type of keg. They are very common and work very well for their purpose. Typically, this is the keg you will receive with your homebrew kegging system.

In addition, you will usually get a double gauge regulator with a shutoff valve, the standard CO2 tubing and clamps, ball style disconnects standard on any pressurized unit and the tap and tubing which come with it.

While many homebrew kegging kits may come with different quality pieces, you will not see much variation in what your kit offers. The best part is that the entire kit is very cost effective. You can often find kits for less than $200, as with anything the more features you get the more you will pay for the kit.

If you enjoy secondary fermentation processes or enjoy lagering then you will need a second corny keg. This is critical for transferring the beer to a second sanitary keg later on in the process.

Keep your eyes out and you will be able to find a kit that includes pin lock kegs. These kegs lock and disconnect by simply twisting the collar. This is a much easier option than using the standard ball lock kegs. Ball lock kegs work fine, but a pin lock keg gives you more options which will fit any of your personal preferences, when deciding what kegging system you will use.

Each kit has individual instructions about how to set up, use, and clean the kit. It is very important to follow the directions for your exact kit as they may require different methods.

If you are new to homebrewing you may also want to invest in a book. There are a multitude of options available when you are getting started at home including all your basic beers, ales, and lagers. By using a homebrew kegging system, you will finally be able to save yourself tons of headaches and storage space by going straight from the brewing to kegging. This cuts out the bottling time as well as the waiting time.
